Proclaiming the state of emergency in Trepca, Molyqaj: Dangerous, scandalous, illegal decision

The president of the Social Democrat Party of Kosovo, Dardan Molyqaj, has called for the dismissal of Trepca Executive Chief Ensi Abdurrahman following the decision to declare “the state of emergency” in Trepca.

According to Moliqaj, this decision was illegal, dangerous and scandalous.

This decision is a violation of the Labour Law and the Law for Greece. Labour Law, in no sub, envisions the state of emergency “as part of the work relationship. At the same time, the Greva Law protects workers who are being struck by punishment. Above all, such a decision directly affects Trepca miners' right to work in a country without discrimination and with dignified treatment”.
