What the police report says about the 89-year-old Ferizaj assassination of an alleged police official

Kosovo police have detailed the murder that occurred last night in the courtyard of a wedding hall in the village of Bibaij in Ferizaj, where a policeman allegedly killed an 89-year-old. Police have stressed that the suspect was off duty, Express reports.

The 24-hour report says the event occurred around 19:25. It says the suspect surrendered to the station.

The victim is Sadri Sadriu, who, according to media reports, is ax of Princeton Sadriut, the husband of President Vjosa Osmani.

Suspected in the murder is police party Ramadani. The murder was allegedly committed with the official weapon.

The same has been arrested and assigned to the 48-hour detention measure.

The Kosovo Police Inspectorate has provided details. Based on initial information, The IPK says the allegations are that the alleged police official in this case had gone to this location and had fired gunfire towards the victim, which in the aftermath of the injuries suffered has changed lives.

Mayor Qazim Reka has suggested that the policeman was not part of the family party, adding that the motives are still unknown.
