Osmani: Their success and endurance depend on cooperation with allies

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has told Radio Free Europe on Saturday that acts for denial of sovereignty in Kosovo are legitimate acts and in line with the Kosovo Constitution, but that their success and sustainability depend on co-operation with allies. She has made those statements after questioning Western reactions on August 30th, following the closure of five parallel objects in northern Kosovo. According to the Government of Kosovo, these institutions have been operating under Serbia's leadership and have violated the country's constitutionality and laws.
US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O'Brien has called on Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti to stop, as he has said, the uncoordinated <x0 actions that negatively affect our”.
The northern action has also reacted to the ambassadors of Germany, France and Great Britain.
“Situate in northern Kosovo is very challenging, because instead of the 2013 Agreement, which requires all illegal structures to be dissolved, they are strengthened by [Serbian president, Aleksandar] Vuciq in this decade, and have become Mafia groups, which also challenge security and sovereignty, but the very lives of citizens living in the north of”, Osman said in Prague, where he is participating in the Globsec security forum.
It has called for no “of any dark force, no state that has malicious intentions towards Kosovo and the region, to create divisions between us and the allies”.

Asked whether senior American officials, including Central Intelligence Agency chief (CIA), have mentioned during recent-day meetings worsening relations with the Government of Kosovo, she has said the US has been clear at every level that reports with the people of Kosovo, with Kosovo as a state, are very powerful.

She has said she will meet under Globsec with American officials to discuss all current challenges.
Osmani has declined to comment why on Saturday, August 31st, an increased presence of NATO mission forces in Kosovo has been noted. KFOR on the main bridge over the Iber River.
The president has said that KFOR should be asked about this, but even this institution has not answered Radio Free Europe questions.
A member of the Italian KFOR forces on the Ibri Bridge has earlier told a REL correspondent that “is not expected anything special” and that members there are located “due to routine operations”.
