Osman meets with Hovenier, discuss security issues, fair elections

Kosovo's presidency has announced that recent developments in the country, with particular emphasis on the security field, have been discussed during the meeting. The election issue has also been discussed.

The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has hosted the United States Ambassador Jeffrey Havenier at the meeting. At the meeting, President Osmani and Ambassador Havenier have discussed recent developments in the country, with particular emphasis on the security field, as well as continued commitment to further consolidation of the international position of the Republic of Kosovo. Also discussed at the meeting is the management of the consultations process for setting the date of fair parliamentary elections and full commitment to ensuring a democratic and successful election process. The continued deepening of bilateral reports and regular co-ordination on national interest topics were also part of discussions at today's” meeting, the Presidency has announced.
