Musliu said he has been asked by Ajeti and his subordinates to be careful, responsible and, above all, professional in events that have been conducted by AKI and AKI.
“also as the Parliamentary Commission we have expressed our concern over publishing the identity of certain officials in the Agency, considering as harmful actions and an obstacle to professional work”.
“Unauthorized identity detection of AKI officials and other sensitive information, in addition to presenting legal violations, is an obstacle to AKI operations and in some cases may even risk the lives of its officials”, Musliu wrote.
Furthermore, Musliu asked citizens and media to be attentive and to be cautious when reporting or commenting on sensitive issues involving employees and methods of AKI work, since he said it could compromise the security and efficiency of AKI operations.
The “Commission remains committed to effective oversight of AKI and stresses that AKI and other institutions in Kosovo are obliged to co-operate and help each other carry out their tasks and co-ordinate activities within their competencies, in line with the laws and regulations in force regarding the protection of resources, methods and other classified”, Musliu wrote.
