For eight months, 300 nurses went away. Kurti is proud of Emergency, says he will face difficulties

Close to 800 thousand euros is the cost of emergency clinic renovations at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo, joint investment between the Ministry of Health and the Hospital Service and the University Clinic of Kosovo, reports Online Economics.

On Tuesday, these spaces were inaugurated under the presence of Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Health Minister Arben Vitita.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti said emergency clinic space has been subjected to a complete renovation, spaces that will be more accessible to staff and citizens who receive services.

Kurti has stressed that by now the “working conditions are on the side of doctors”, who earlier except patients, doctors have also faced working conditions and major difficulties.

About 800 thousand euros have been invested in the emergency clinic. A job that has to be done in five months, the economic operator has done in three months. Growth in the number of beds between 20 and 25. Earlier, in addition to patients, doctors have also faced working conditions and severe difficulties. Now the working conditions are on their side. In the operating room, there are now cameras, which means operating can also be conveyed from outside to real time”.

About 800 thousand euros is the investment for this renovation. The supervisor is local, with owners, engineers, Kosovo workers”, Kurti said.

Kosovo's Clinical and University Centre Emergency Clinic continues to have the main burden on providing emergency health services for patients throughout Kosovo.

Based on public procurement data, the value of the contract for emergency renovation is 779 thousand euros.

Due to their salary, nurses are leaving Kosovo, only for eight months 300 left.
