U.S. Military avoids asking a lawyer: You're looking for simple answers to a difficult question.

The questions about this witness have begun Selimi's defence, through lawyer Eric Tully, who focused on the KFOR mission in Kosovo.

Asked whether KFOR was in contact with the Ministry of Public Order and who kept the identification card issued by them, the witness avoided the question by telling the lawyer that he is looking for simple answers to a difficult question, reports the “Justice Vow bet”.

But Tully kept insisting on his question.

My “My question was this; you have not been in contact with this ministry to communicate with them and ask who had such identification cards. So you were just supposed to get these cards?

But the witness again said that “under the technical agreement we had the duty to get these identity cards”.

So you're answering me, you weren't in contact with this minister?

Russell said there were no legitimate institutions under the agreement because at the time it was the UN's mandate to do so, avoiding concrete response.

From our perspective, we had orders. Under the agreement there were no legitimate institutions because then it was the UN's mandate to carry out this task”, Russell said.

“Pot called as non-”, Tully said, following the Russell response that told “take it as you please”.

But, Tully went on to insist asking that “A is a non-compression.”.

“You are asking a very difficult question and you want a simple reply”, the witness said.

“A you ever contacted the ministry to ask them if they had issued IDs”, Tully said.

“You were talking about the KLA ministry?”, the witness said.

“I'm talking about the Ministry of Public Order”, Tully said.

“Which minister?”, the witness said.

“A has behind KFOR contact this ministry to have evidence of who had such IDs”, Tully said.

In the end, the witness said it was no ID issued by the United Nations, and there are no legitimate reasons behind it to contact the ministry.

This was not an ID issued by the United Nations and there was no legitimate reason to contact the alleged ministry, at least as you consider it, because they were not a legitimate institution. How should we contact a ministry that had no authority to exist”, the witness said, adding that they photographed these IDs and worked according to their intelligence and police function.

On the other hand, Tully asked the witness if there was any possibility that such IDs would be purchased in the black market for which witness said they were released by the government and that every time they found them they were obtained because they were directly directed.
