Latif for the VV conference: Policy with the dead, so the living are leaving.

The Vetevendosje movement Monday before the Special Prosecutor has held a conference accusing the Prosecutor of negligence in the Astrit Dehar case.

In this regard, university professor Blerim Latifi has mentioned the term “Necropolica”, derived from Greek referring to the dead “polics”.

Consequently, Latifi said Kosovo politics does not deal with the economy. And so citizens go where they're going, leaving their graves alone.

“Necropolis is the Greek word. It means making politics with the dead. You turn the dead into political capital. And in lands where there are necropolisics, you should not expect to find biopoliticals, that is, politics that deal with the problems of the living. And unfortunately we're one of these places. How little [the biopolitical] economy has in our political speech, and how many graves. Too terrible. So the living, in search of economics, are leaving, leaving behind the graves. And the crazy politics that live from them” wrote Latif on Facebook.
