Through a response on the “X”, Lajcak has said the EU has consistently said the issue of opening the bridge should be discussed in dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
“The EU has repeatedly stressed that the issue of the Mitrovica bridge should be discussed in the EU-launched dialogue. The claims that the EU is against opening the bridge or has changed its position are misleading”, he wrote.
Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, who is also Kosovo's chief negotiator in the negotiations with Serbia, has written in “X” that the EU is threatening to impose additional measures on Kosovo if the agreement by itself is implemented.
The EU has recently been stressed that the isuse of the Mitrovica bridge must be discused in the EU-Feverited Dialogue.
