Lajcak: Claims that the EU opposes opening of Ibër Bridge are confusing

The European Union's Special Emisar for Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, has said claims that the EU opposes opening the Ibri main bridge are confusing. “The EU has repeatedly stressed that the issue of the Mitrovica bridge should be discussed in the EU-launched dialogue. The claims that the EU is against opening the bridge or has changed its position are misleading”, he wrote.
Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi, who is also Kosovo's chief negotiator in the negotiations with Serbia, has written in “X” that the EU is threatening to impose additional measures on Kosovo if the agreement by itself is implemented.
The EU has recently been stressed that the isuse of the Mitrovica bridge must be discused in the EU-Feverited Dialogue.
