Kryeziu has confirmed that Kurti will meet with Northern Macedonia Prime Minister Hristija Mickoski.
“Prime Minister Kurti, accompanied by cabinet ministers, will pay a working visit to northern Macedonia on Monday. There will be a bilateral meeting with the prime minister of northern Macedonia, with which they will discuss bilateral reports, regional co-operation and infrastructure projects of interest to the two states of”, Kryeziu said.
On the other hand, he added that the implementation of this visit was agreed on 20 July.
Kurti is making that visit at the time when relations between Kosovo and Northern Macedonia have been irritated following the incident in which President Vjosa Osmani was involved at Skopje Airport.
In this regard, Kosovo sent diplomatic protest marks to northern Macedonia.
Prime Minister Kurti has not yet reacted to this incident, thus confirming the release of reports with President Osmani.
What happened at Skopje Airport?
During border control at Skopje Airport (Northern Macedonia), Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani had an unusual case that ended with an incident between the Kosovo and the Macedonian sides. While full circumstances are still unclear, the case is described as a scandal and violation of diplomatic immunity.
All are believed to have happened because of President Osmani's phone, even though the two countries' authorities gave conflicting positions on the issue.
