Kosovo police conducted raids on four municipalities in north Mitrovica

This has been confirmed by the Kosovo Police, saying the purpose of the police operation is to establish order and legitimacy and cut off activities in five items that have been used in the quality of illegal municipalities.

Kosovo's “Police, based on the request of the Ministry of Management and Local Power, in co-operation and co-ordination with relevant Kosovo institutions and justice bodies, is conducting a police operation in four municipalities in northern Kosovo.

The purpose of the police operation is to establish order and legitimacy and cut off activities in five items that have been exploited in the qualities of illegal municipalities, which are contrary to constitutional rule.

The police operation is ongoing, while additional information will be informed after the operation is completed.”, the report says.
