The treatment of veterans by Kurti Government is the worst since post-war by all prime ministers. That's what they say about Online Economy, former Kosovo Liberation Army fighters.

They also cite putting KLA veterans off the minimum wage, while criticising Albin Kurti's lack of communication with the KLA's OVL.

Former Kosovo Liberation Army soldier Artan Nimani has told Onlinne Economy that Prime Minister Albin Kurti's goal is to rewrite history and not have veterans at all. He also mentions veteran Prime Minister Kurti's card device, as he is surprised how it is possible not to meet the KLA's OVL for four years.

“The problem of war veterans is a long ago inherited problem not only of this government, although governments have earlier made an effort to regulate their judicial status but yet today we are facing an extraordinary challenge for survival, a challenge that is really sorry, and I am sorry what we are in, that four years has not yet communicated with Kurti. Not a cent has been spilled by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo into war-free associations. I don't know the goal, though Prime Minister Kurti wants to rewrite history and would like there to be no Kosovo Liberation Army veterans at all because of his shortcomings associated with this”.

And one thing worries me very much, he currently holds a war veteran's card, whether it's fake or true, but I don't know, to keep a card and not meet for four years the association that came out of the war is really out of every normal issue and outside any human logic”, Niman said, as he mentioned the statement by Hekuran Murati, who said that Kosovo is costing veterans more than some mercenaries would.

According to him, veterans have major financial and health problems, which they say are struggling for survival.

“There is no treatment at all government Kurti that four years has not communicated with them, a certain case of prime minister's adviser has demanded that associations leave the luxury, but not to support the interests of simply survival. Pre-war associations have pre-war problems of survival, prosthetics, services, their existence and their families, so I think the logic that Prime Minister Kurti has taken to the opinion through the finance minister compared to mercenaries is true, and this is working in the government unfortunately in the government of the Republic of Kosovo. Today the government of the Republic of Kosovo is there, today the prime minister and those ministers are there thanks to the heroic fight of those boys and girls who had been doing”, he added.

Nimani, who is chairman of “Intellectual Europe 2030x1>, has stated that the veteran's pension in the country should not be below 500 euros.

“I think KLA war veterans should have the average public sector wage in the Republic of Kosovo, which will be it, not below 500 euros. Sit down and get started, cut off its anti activity. The KLA and at all costs to sit down and talk to them, because today the government and we who are speaking are here, the state of the Republic of Kosovo is here due to the heroic war of the UQ, so the Kurti government must urgently put their anger aside, its problems associated with the KLA symbol and return to reality because Kosovo is greater than a government and the KLA is larger than any prime minister alone, or all together<1>, Nimani stressed.

Critical of Kurti's approach to KLA veterans, there is also the chairman of the Veterans Organisation in Pec, Gazmend Syla. He has told online Economy that since coming to the top of the executive, Kurt has offended veterans.

Syla has said the ruling party in co-ordination with Serbian List has been put off pay

“The treatment of veterans by the Kurti Government is the worst that has occurred since the post-war by all governments or by all prime ministers who have been in charge of the Government. This is because he has only offended Kosovo Liberation Army soldiers in various forms since he came to power. In addition, you know that the votes he made with the Vetevendosje Movement along with the Serbian List, against raising the pension along with the minimum wage. You know the vote in the country that happened to these two subjects, so we don't expect anything positive from this government. This treatment should be stopped as soon as possible, and I believe that in the upcoming elections this prime minister will no longer be the prime minister of our country. And of course anyone who comes to the top of the government is expecting more dignified treatment from any government that comes to the top of the country”, Syla has said.
