KFOR's help is required to intervene in fires that have broken out in Prevale

The Agency for Environmental Protection (AMM) has requested KFOR's help to intervene in the fires that have erupted at “Sharri”.
According to the reported release, KFOR representatives are monitoring the situation and analyzing the possibilities for intervention.
The AMM reported that the fire continues to spread towards the tourist village of Prevala and has also affected the strict natural zone “The May of Arne”.
To help extinguish the fire and prevent its spread, over 20 firefighters from Prizren's fire brigade, a Kosovo Police team from Prizren station, as well as some volunteers.
Also, members of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK) are on the ground to assess the situation and take necessary measures.
Director of DAPK “Sharri”, Mr. Bajram Caffejolli, has held a meeting with KFOR representatives this morning, calling for possible helicopter intervention to extinguish the fire.
