The NATO-led Multinational Special Unit of the KFOR Mission holds a direct shooting exercise in Pristina. This part of regular training was conducted by KFOR personnel to test procedures and maintain the highest standards of operational efficiency”, the mission said.
KFOR reiterated that it continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 to contribute to a secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially.
KFOR acts as the third security reacter, in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's mission for Rule of Law (EULEX), which are the first and second security responder respectively.
