In a media communiqué, Serbia's Armed Forces said this was a regular high-level meeting, where they also talked about co-operation between the Serbian Army and KFOR “in our joint task of creating a secure” environment in Kosovo.
A conversation also took place about actions undertaken by Serbia's Armed Forces and by international forces in the province, on monitoring the situation on the ground, preventing the creation of any crisis, and offering effective answers if security is threatened”, the communiqué says.
They agreed that it is necessary to continue good “co-operation”, seeing that the security situation in Kosovo “is unstable and sensitive”, according to the announcement.
Their meeting comes at a time when Kosovo authorities have taken certain actions in the country's north, a Serb-run residential part, which have been rejected by Serbia and Kosovo Serbs.
