Kallas meets Moghrin, gets “advice and good words” from her before starting office as chief EU diplomat

Kaya Kallas, former prime minister of Estonia who is nominated for the position of European Union High Representative (BE), has arrived yesterday in Brussels.

Kallas needs the support of the European Parliament to take over the post of head diplomat.

Estonese today has met Federica Moghrin, former senior EU representative before Spaniard Josep Borelli.

“Excellent meeting with Kaya Kallas in Brussels, it will be a wonderful High Representative for the European Union”, it has written.

Kallas wrote after Mogher, thanking the Italian for his advice and good words.

Mogher. Currently, Italian politician holds the post of European College rector. As it held the position of the European Chief Editor Moghrini has mediated the Kosovo dialogue, Serbia.

During its mandate it had not ruled out the possibility of changing borders between Kosovo and Serbia, but has stressed that a possible correction should not be based on ethnic lines.
