Iran's message was handed over to Israel through Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijártó, who called live Katz to explain that he had received this information from incumbent Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri, broadcast Telegrafi.
“Iran has informed us that he intends to attack Israel”, Katz said, adding that “bota should demand a price from Iran for any aggressive action that commits”.
On the other hand, Israel earlier announced that it would investigate a preventative attack to prevent Iran if it discovered evidence that Tehran was preparing to carry out an attack, Jewish media reported after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyah gathered Israel's security chiefs for a meeting Sunday evening.
The meeting, attended by Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, IDF Chief of Staff, General Herzie Halev, Mossad head David Barnea and Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar, was held amid preparations for Iran's envisioned attacks on Israel and his Lebanese ally Hezbollah.
