The CIA chief's visit to Kosovo is apparently giving him its effects. What was conducted until early last week is no longer mentioned by the Government of Kosovo or by LVV exhibitors.
What was the main theme last week, it's a little under the shadow this week.
The company that conducted the assessments on the Ibër bridge has yet to deliver the final report, which did not provide any clarification either by the Ministry of Infrastructure or by the Kosovo government this Monday.
In northern Mitrovica, however, almost all are unanimously to open this bridge.
They even ask the internationals to either open the bridge or explain why they are not allowing it.
Nexhat Ugljanin, leader of the Municipal Assembly in northern Mitrovica, told Tv Dukagjin that internationals give no explanation why they oppose opening the bridge.
There's no explanation, there's no answer when we ask them, why they're against moving cars, because with its opening, free movement is the European democratic spirit, but since we ask them, they have no concrete answers to the”.
Similarly, the other asamblist from the ranks of the civic initiative “Mitrovica”, Skender Sadiku, is still insisting that everything be done in co-ordination with them.
And it was supposed to be not a topic at all now, it's become a measure of how much I can bear this bridge, but no one has had the measure that people can measure. ”
And citizens of North Mitrovica also say internationals have stopped this process.
” The opening of the bridge is necessary, that the bridges connect each people, but the internationals are against, are out of the way, even without deciding they could no one step by”, Nysret Krasniqi said.
Until the other citizen Zymber Ismajli declared the bridge should not be closed.
This should not be closed, but the meal will come and open. Internationals keep it closed, internationals for their political interests. Now they're willing to get rid of them and no one gets to anything, nothing.”
For government plans at the opening of the bridge or their actions away, they have not responded.
Last week when he was in the US and the first of the CIA chief's visit to Pristina, Prime Minister Albin Kurti said he would not surprise the internationals, but could not wait indefinitely.
