Hoti recalls the visit of the American delegation in 1990: It was US support point to Kosovo

Hoti says this visit by US senators and congressers has been the starting point of US support for Kosovo to remove the Serbian regime from Kosovo.
LDK MP says President Rugova's demands at the time had been clear, that Kosovo's independence is the only solution to peace in the Balkans.
“This visit was followed by President Rugova's trip to the US immediately in September 1990, to reiterate his stance backed by the people of Kosovo”, Hoti wrote.
“Today, after 34 years, we reflect much more clearly on the historic importance of this visit. All of Kosovo's people remain deeply grateful for the role of this delegation, which opened the doors of the US and Western world to ensure support for Kosovo's liberation and independence”, he adds.
Kosovo politician has finally written that Kosovo's EU and NATO integration efforts are continuing.
