CIA chief William Burns has wrapped up today in Kosovo the four-day visit to the region. Today he met with Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and yesterday with President Vjosa Osmani. His visit has been named historical, and that brilliant diplomat. Reporter.net brings a summary of what is known about his visit to state leaders' statements after meetings with him.

For about 24 hours, American Central Intelligence Agency Chief (CIA) William Burns has stayed in Kosovo. His arrival in Pristina was part of a four-day visit to the region.

The first meeting after arriving in Kosovo was held with President Vjosa Osmani. The discussion between them lasted about an hour. Then Burns left the presidency building and reportedly stopped at the Kosovar Intelligence Agency.

For the meeting, President Osmani was declared to today, where she was officially confirmed. He also took pictures, said that the alliance with the United States is a guarantee of security, peace, and success.

“Alliance with the United States, competition for security, peace and success! The pleasure I hosted yesterday in the Republic of Kosovo chief of the American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Ambassador William Burns”, Osmani wrote.

Today morning, Burns has also met with Prime Minister Albin Kurti. Even this meeting lasted as long as the one with Osman.

Kurti described this visit as historic, and Burns called it brilliant diplomat.

We want to strengthen and expand further. The CIA director's visit, brilliant diplomat William Burns, was a very good opportunity to negotiate a wide range of topics and deepen and advance our strategic co-operation, in the service of democratic peace and Euro-Atlantic security in the region and beyond”, Kurti wrote.

He said he has notified Burns of the country's progress, which he said <x0-> we preserve and protect as we further upgrade and add”.

The government of the Republic of Kosovo is also managing the internal challenges of successful security, directed by the force of law with institutions and mechanisms of our democratic state. In the last three years, while Bruto Product of Kosovo has increased 33% of the state budget for 35%, for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Defence, we have dedicated 11.1% (or 1/9) of the annual budget. The liberation of our country's independence, the permanent American support in so many areas, were and are the right and proper thing that was worth it all for”, Kurti wrote away.

Finally, he thanked the CIA director for his continued support.

Burns' visit to Kosovo comes after he reportedly had to Belgrade and Sarajevo.

For the visit to Serbia, no details have been made. It's not even confirmed yet.

Meanwhile, in Bosnia and Herzegovina on 20 August, Burns met with counterparts from the intelligence sector, with members of the presidency of this state and with the Bosnian Foreign Minister.

An American government official has declared for REL that the reason for the CIA chief's visit to Sarajevo was, among other things, due to the rhetoric and disturbing separatist actions of the pro-intensity president of the Republika Srpska entity, Milorad Dodik and the government of this entity.

Burns has been named as director of the US Central Intelligence Agency by President Joe Biden in January 2021.

Burns is a central figure in the administration of US President Joe Biden, as he is also a member of the White House's presidential cabinet. Earlier he was an ambassador to Russia.
