Haxhiu: Kurt failed to implement the Health Insurance Law.

Democratic Party of Kosovo deputy (PDK), Bekim Haxhiu, has said the government “Kurti”, in its government mandate, has failed to implement the Health Insurance Law. He has said that seeing the work of this government is difficult to implement by 2030. He has added [...]
He has said that seeing the work of this government is difficult to implement by 2030.
He has added that Prime Minister Albin Kurti, with today's statements on the issue, has proved that he failed in the health sector and cheated on promises of health insurance.
Today Albin Kurti has actually admitted that he failed in the health sector, and he has also admitted to cheating when he promised health insurance would be implemented in his government. For four years he and his government have been unable to bring the Law to the Convention on Health Insurance to complete and change two three of its articles. They have also failed to bring in the Law on Health, and for four years of governance have been unable to adopt a strategy for health”, he has said.
Haxhiu, who is also a member of the Commission for Health and Social Goodness, has said that there have been many poor management abuses in the health sector, according to him, the Kurti for long waiting lists in the health sector, is responsible for leaving health personnel from the public sector to the private sector and their leaving Kosovo abroad.
Over this period of time we have seen many abuses, mismanagement in the health sector, abusive stem contracts, suspicious contracts in the facades of renovations. Just look at the Gineecology and Urology renovation contract, where the square meter for renovation costs about two thousand euros. From the patient's budget, millions of euros have been poured into abusive contracts. Therefore, even the prime minister today must account for all failings in the health sector as prime minister. He is responsible for failing in the health sector, is responsible for long waiting lists in the health sector, is responsible for leaving health personnel from the public sector to the private sector and from Kosovo abroad. Misuses with contracts and for failing health insurance, all these abuses, abuses have the name Government Kurti”, he said.
Haxhiu has stressed that considering that they are at the end of the mandate -- now, even if it goes to the Kosovo Assembly for approval -- it is hard to complete such an important law for such a short period of time.
Kosovo has adopted the Law on Health Insurance in 2014, but there has been no management to implement it and today, even if the Law comes to the Assembly, we are at the end of the mandate, hardly enough to complete such an important law for such a short period of time. But even since the implementation of health insurance I've said that with this governance, in this order, it's going to be hard to do before 2030x1>, he said of EO.
