Fires burn down northern Macedonia, alarming situation in several regions

The situation comes to be heavy as a result of fires and in some regions of northern Macedonia.

Hundreds of firefighters, a helicopter and planes have been working for four days to control the flames in Djurddjez, as the residents of the area who are using everything they can in aid.

Up to this point, no injured persons are reported as the damage to agriculture and fruit trees is too large.

Northern Macedonia's southern neighbour, Greece, has been battling fires caused by rising temperatures and strong wind.
