The European Mission for the Endimation of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) has said it is closely monitoring the security situation in the north, and that it is sticking to the three-story security response.
“In line with his mandate, EULEX continues to monitor the security situation in Kosovo closely. In particular, to gain awareness of the situation, the EULEX Police Formed Unit, which consists of 105 Polish police officers, is conducting mobile detection patrols at 24/7 bases, including 50, but without being restricted to Kosovo north”.
The security of all communities in Kosovo remains our first priority. EULEX remains vigilant and in line with Kosovo's three-level security response mechanism, ready to support Kosovo Police if required and necessary to contribute to the preservation and promotion of public order and security in cases of civil unrest”, says EULEX's response to Rtv21.
