According to foreign media, Telegrafi conveys, Dodik has said RS never questioned Bosnia and Herzegovina's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

“The fight against terrorism is an obligation of the whole free world, and in this context, the visit of CIA director Mr. William Burns in Bosnia and Herzegovina is important”, Dodik wrote.

In this direction, he has added that Republika Srpska is committed to this war and welcomes any co-operation on this front.

But what stands out is especially interesting that Dodik stressed that RS has allegedly never opposed BiH's territorial integrity and sovereignty.

“Republika Srpska has never rejected Bosnia and Herzegovina's sovereignty and territorial integrity in line with the Dayton Agreement, and the secession has never been our policy”, Dodik has said.

He added further that Republika Srpska has the right to a political fight for its status, according to the Dayton Agreement document.

“Bosnja and Herzegovina is the union of two equal entities and three constituent peoples, so it is encouraging to Mr. Burns's stance that the responsibility for functioning of the state is held by all ethnic communities”, has ended Dodik in the first response after the surprising “card” of Burns in Sarajevo.

As Klx.ba points out, according to his information, one of the topics of conversation during the Burns visit was also the Secesionist rhetoric in RS.
