Today my heart was filled with pride and gratitude! I was honored to meet with the boys of our immortal heroes Nyazi Azemi, Rexhep Bislimi, Ahmet Kaciku, Gursel Sylejmani and Beating Beqiri. In their eyes I saw the brightness of the future, and the strength of their glorious heritage.
As I listened to their stories, I felt that the sacrifice of their fathers was not in vain. These guys are the living testimony to the courage and patriotism that has brought us here.
Meetings like this remind me of how far we have come as a nation and how much we have yet to do. I am convinced that with this new generation, inspired by their parents' heroism, the future of Albanians is bright.
