Biserko spoke of her visits to Kosovo starting since the 1990s and continuing today. She praised that Kosovo society has changed positively and feels impressed by young people.

She spoke of the position of the Serb minority in Kosovo, where Serbs in the north and south are not in the same position.

“In the north Serbs are controlled by Belgrade and have been prevented from being integrated into Kosovo institutions, having all guarantees for their rights from the country's constitutional” she said in RTK.

It also attracted attention that Kosovo institutions should be careful in access to the Serb minority, because they were once in the dominant position of “now are not and that they have long lived in a kind of vacuum”.

That, among other things, says Kosovo's long-awaited partition has been mentioned, but stresses that Chancellor Merkel has stopped this.

Dialogue according to Biserkos cannot be said to have taken a line, which cannot be estimated to have achieved any progress.

“Already is returning to a new route, especially after the Banjska case that has eventually removed Kosovo's partition from the negotiating table”, Biserko said, until Belgrade added to Kosovo with the fact that voter turnout has been hampered by Kosovo Serbs.

“Leaving the institutions of this country, remaining in a vulnerable community, and for that the Kosovo institutions should be careful to approach them, because a major trauma must be caused”, Biserko stressed.

Biserko disclosed that recent residences in Sandzak for Kosovo Serbs are being built in Serbia and that the state University of Mitrovica is being transferred to Novi Pazar, as well as the detection of the health centre there.

Biserko said she sees prospects for reconciliation between the two peoples, putting emphasis on its activity on the issue, adding that there are facts and that parameters should be set through which the frames would be directed.

But it highlighted the major wounds of the people of Kosovo by the Serbian state over the centuries, until Serbs apologized for all those acts.

She said the Serb minority that wants to live in Kosovo can live, stressing that there are laws here that create opportunities for integration. However, Biserko says that political will is not enough, but the whole society is considered to be more accessible in this.

In addition Biserko has criticised the EU's approach in relation to dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia. According to her, Lajcak has not been successful without American representatives' help, citing agreements reached in Brussels and Ohrid, but not being implemented.

She said all countries of the former Yugoslavia criticise the approach of internationals to Serbia.

Regarding the Association of Serb-run municipalities, Biserko said the international community, since the beginning of the wars, has implemented this ethnic idea, noting also the Dayton Agreement.

What makes me doubt this solution is that from the very beginning, Belgrade has asked for association as an ethnic division, as a kind of status of a Republika Srpska, and unfortunately there is no guarantee that this will not happen, and the international community has done nothing, not even in Bosnia”, Biserko said.
