<x0.>Family, friends and collaborators gathered at the Gowen Field on August 22nd 2024, to say good-bye to Battalion Soldiers 1 of the 183rd Helicopters of the Idahos Army National Guard, as they left Aidaho to prepare for deployment abroad in support of Operation Joint Guardian-1>, the report reported.
“Some UH-60M helicopters Black Hawk and more than 100 personnel were deployed in Texas to receive approximately 30 days of additional training before heading to Kosovo for an 11-month rotation in support of the NATO peacekeeping mission. The unit has predicted this mission since October 2022, and the Southoth Battalion Task Force has been trained for the past 18 months in preparation for this mobilization”, the announcement further said.
