Visar Azemi, a member of the head of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), has commented on the European Union's warnings of new sanctions, as they consider that the Government of Kosovo, led by Albin Kurti, is taking uncoordinated actions.
Azemi has said that the issue of the Ibër Bridge is being used by Albin Kurti for electoral purposes.
He has said the opening of the ibri bridge is everyone's love, but adds that it is not opened for lack of desire, but because of the assessment of international and peacekeeping allies.
At a time when we would have to enjoy lifting EU sanctions, today we received warning of the possibility of new sanctions. Once again, the stubbornness of Albin Kurt and the reckless and uncoordinated actions of the government he directs. Once again using a case for electoral reasons, for a handful of votes”.
“Opening Ibër Bridge is something we all want. It was opened not as a lack of will and will, but as an assessment of the international allies and peacekeepers, whom we had supported in establishing and building the state. Those who gave us support in war and peace. Any action without cooperation with them is action against them, and therefore against the state”, Azemi said.
Any leader of each institution should have realized that actions contrary to our friends do not go to Kosovo. To worse, they serve Serbia. Confrontation with NATO, the EU's US leads to a dead end. It would never have to happen in any way”, he declared.
