He said health workers engaged under this contract have been paid for four months and that the outcome of this contract jeopardises the closure of several family medical centres.
“With concern, I accepted news of the expiration of the contract for health personnel between the Ferizaj municipality and Caritas Kosovo. The more that came without paying the last four salaries to health workers. And also knowing that the outcome of this contract jeopardises the closure of the QMFs in the villages of Komoglava, Softaj and Mirash”, Azemi wrote in a Facebook post.
He has requested immediate “resolution”.
“Highly praising the contribution of about 300 employees who have consistently served with passion and professionalism until they are already unemployed, on behalf of LDK in Ferizaj, I seek immediate solutions to compensate them for their invaluable work and to ensure the continuation of health services in the community. The latter is also well - known for the fact that service requirements have increased significantly since after seasonal villas and the influx of exiles”.
Azemi said health professionals and citizens “could become victims of Ferizaji's government's management disability”.
Neither health professionals nor citizens in general can become victims of Ferizaj's government's managerial inability. Mantel White must receive compensation for their work, and patients are not allowed to remain without health services in any form.
