The 19-year-old top suspect was arrested in Ternitz, south of Vienna, and the second person in the Austrian capital, according to Franz Ruf, general director of public security at the Interior Ministry.
The pop star, 34, was to perform at Vienna's Kernst-Open-Stadion's three concerts on August 8, 9th and 10th, and the security measures for the performances were set to grow before the annulment, writes DailyMail.
The suspects who allegedly radicalised the internet were planning to target Vienna in their attack with the 19-year-old focused on the Swiss concert in Vienna, Ruf confirmed.
The 19-year-old man who lived at his parents' house along with another man was arrested Wednesday after police raided the house, according to the Austrian newspaper “rone Zeitung”.
A bomb squad reportedly found chemicals after the house raid and the substances are now being assessed to see if they can produce a bomb.

The names of the suspects have not yet been disclosed.
The teenager had pledged loyalty to the Islamic State group (ISIS) in early July, police said, and confirmed that they were aware of the preparations for a possible attack.
Law enforcement sources told ABC News that information about the threat to performances originated with American intelligence and was passed on to Austrians and Europol.

Ruf added: “The suspects were focused on Taylor Swift concerts. We discovered he was taking action to prepare for the attack. A clear threat has been avoided. )
Police are also investigating other potential collaborators.
Swift concert promoter Barracuda Music posted a statement stating: “Tajlor Swift Concerts of the Tour Eras) in Vienna have been cancelled due to confirmation of government officials of a planned terrorist attack.

With the confirmation of government officials for a planned terrorist attack at Ernst Happel Stadium, we have no choice but to cancel the three plays planned for everyone's safety.
“All tickets will be automatically updated within the next 10 days of work”.
The concerts were expected to be attended by 65,000 spectators a day, with an additional 10,000 to 15,000 fans outside the area, police said.

A suicide bombing carried out by Salman Abednego, 22, took place on May 22, 2017, at a concert by Ariana Grandes at Manchester Arena and resulted in the death of 22 victims and 139 wounded.
After the attack, Ariana interrupted her tour, but returned to the city only two weeks later to lead the June 2017 One Love concert.
