Arrest is required for the man who beat his wife to death in Gracanica

A serious event took place in Gracanica, where a woman has changed her life as a result of her husband's beatings.

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina reports public opinion that on July 31st 2024, the guardian prosecutor has been notified by police of a case of domestic violence in Gracanica.

On the other hand, the prosecution points out that this case has been initiated as “Deguan in the family” and “Heavy bodily implementation”, where the Prosecutorials have issued a ruling on the ban, in the course of 48 hours.

“At the time the same was under this measure, the deceased (victima) passed away, so the case has been delegated for treatment to the Department of the Late Crime of this Prosecutor, and re-qualified “grave murder”, according to KPRK”, the report follows.

The State Prosecutor, has issued a warrant for the autopsy to be felt, has also submitted calls for appointment of the detention measure against suspects to the competent court.

In full co-ordination with police and relevant units are taking investigative action against this case.

Otherwise, the victim, M.Z., born in 1983, had been transferred to Pristina by the Clinical Hospital Centre in Gracanica, where it was admitted in serious condition on the evening of July 31st.
