Arifi, Osmani: You can't call Rugovism, and in practice you line up like a VV swimmer.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti received a strong message from the QUINT ambassadors about the insistence on opening Ibër Bridge. “We are representatives of France, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, the United States ... We met with Prime Minister Kurti to inform him that our governments in consultation with NATO cannot support any change [...]
“We are representatives of France, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, the United States ... We met with Prime Minister Kurti to inform him that our governments in consultation with NATO cannot support any change in the current status of the Mitrovica bridge currently” was expressed after the meeting with Kurti last week.
However, despite that, Kosovo institutions have launched procedures for testing the supporting power of the Ibër Bridge as opening up its vehicle flow.
And this issue prompted Kosovo Serbs to protest today by opposing the opening of the bridge.
This government initiative, for the former diplomat, Avni Arifi, says it has to do with elections.
He in a proposal for Periscope has said that opening the bridge would create political advancement for the VV, so he claims they would lie that there is an extension of sovereignty in the north.
We're in pre-election phase. You know. I know, and everyone knows that opening the bridge would create a political advantage for Vetevendosje and complete the false story about the extent of sovereignty in North”, he said.
He said Kurti is not ignoring international demands, without which independence would be impossible.
The obvious “that it is unfair for us to keep the bridge closed, but Kosovo must understand the allied countries for the importance they give this issue regardless of whether they consider it unfair. We are not talking about international and international demand here, but we are talking of contempt for allied countries without which the road for Kosovo towards freedom and independence has been impossible”, Arifi said.
Former chief negotiator, Avni Arifi, has demanded that after severe international reactions, President Osmani act the way he talks at international forums.
According to him, Osman must be determined if he wants to be in line with the VV.
“The president needs to speak and I need to act on the rhetoric that he uses at every local and international forum. You can't call Rugovism and talk about Kosovo's proximity with Western values and in practice line up behind VV militants as their swimmer. The president must be defined”, he said.
A rally of several hundred Serbs took place about an hour Wednesday morning in northern Mitrovica, with calls to QUINT and KFOR not allowing the opening of the Ibri Bridge.
KFOR and the QUINT have rejected the opening of the bridge for now, while they have requested its address in the Brussels dialogue, what Svechla said today. /Periscopi
