“Anamorawa is excluded from Government” Haziri blames Kurt for late finalisation of the Gjilan-Pristina highway

The Gjilan-Pristina highway, a road infrastructure project that is too late to be finalised, is continuing to be delayed to this day.

 

 

 

In 2018 when the highway project was presented, according to the former minister of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Pal Lekaj and former mayor of the Gjilan municipality, Lutfi Haziri, this project would positively influence economic development and facilitate the movement of citizens.

Former Chairman Haziri in a proposal for Telegrafia says the blame for finalising the project lies with Kurti personally and current local governance.

Meanwhile, Haziri says the municipality has been totally uninterested because, according to him, Gjilan is without chairman.

Haziri says that the finalisation project has been removed from any priority for three and a half years, until after the end of the highway, investigations began.

Haziri says that at the time under this project they have also preceded the shift of the Kosovo Army barracks and, according to him, it has been the reason why they have made entrys into the Low and Upper Zegocin.

“We, too, have seen the new Kosovo Army Kazerma build in Zhegovac to be displaced from Gjilan. That's why we've made the entrances to Low Zhegocin and the Upper Zhegocin so that in the future, the fast reaction battalion that is in the Gjilan barracks to have excises on the entire territory of Kosovo”, he said.

Haziri stressed that this project has degraded, and according to him, the biggest Anamorawa development project has been halted.
