Aktakuza against a Kosovo war crimes Serb had committed sexual violence

The Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo has reportedly filed an indictment today at the Constitutional Court in Pristina, the Special Department, against indictees Mr. N, of Serbian nationality, due to the suspicion that he committed the Krim criminal work of fighting the civilian population, sanctioned with Article 142 concerning RSPJ's Article 22:x1>.

“Investigations have proven that during the wartime period in Kosovo during 1998-1999, the defendant committed sexual violence as a war crime against a victim of Albanian nationality”, the report said.

According to the announcement, this criminal case has already passed the Special Department of Foundation Court in Pristina for further procedures.

The defendant is located under security measure of detention, according to the Court of Pre-Procedure's decision until a new verdict on the part of the tribunal”, the statement said.
