960 cannabis plants and over 20 grams of narcotic substances confiscated in Prizren and Kline are arrested by six people

Kosovo police have reported several cases of arrests related to unauthorized possession of narcotics and illegal weapons during August 10th 2024.

In Prizren, on the “Remzi Ademij” street, around 1:25 were arrested three suspected persons, two Kosovo males and one Kosovo woman, as during the search on the vehicle they were traveling with, police have found and confiscated 7,39 grams of suspected drug-type narcotics, 5 ecstasy pills weighing 2.18 grams, a rower with 0.31 grams of marijuana, a package of riscots and two mobile phones.

After the interview, suspects were released in regular procedure.

Also on the <x0 street, Remzi Ademij”, around 01:05, two Kosovar males were arrested, where, during the search of their vehicle, 9.6 grams of marijuana, 10 ecstasy pills weighing 4.17 grams of cocaine, 0.46 grams of cocaine, three packs of resumes, two phones and 250 euros were found.

After that, police raided the suspect's house and found 10.2 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, two grinding disputes, a knife and two plastic bags for empty narcotics.

After the interview, one of the suspects was sent to the maintenance, while the other was released in regular procedure.

Meanwhile, in the village of Perceva, Kline, the Kosovo Police's relevant unit reported an operation against the cultivation of narcotic plants. About 5: 00 a.m., the police encountered some people who were caring for the narcotic plants of sativa cannabis.

During the intervention, four of the suspects -- Albanian citizens from Albania and two Kosovars -- fled into a mountainous area and are still on the run. One of the suspects was arrested at the scene.

Police seized 960 narcotics plants, an AK47 weapon with 20 bullets, two phones and a total of 783.20 euros, 350 dollars and 20 pounds.

The suspect, Albanian citizens from Albania, has been sent to the hold after the interview.
