Over 6 thousand citizens converted illegal drivers, Elshani: From Monday we start with fines, it'll work as south

Today, the deadline for application by citizens for converting drivers from those issued by Serbian illegal institutions to the official Kosovo driver's license has expired.

To this day when this patent process has been completed, drivers have converted 6 thousand and 509 citizens.

Thus has Deputy Director of the Kosovo Police for the north region Veton Elshani announced.

Elshani has given patent conversion statistics to separate municipalities.

In the Leposavic municipality, two thousand 18 citizens have converted drivers into patents. In northern Mitrovica, 1,000 and 576 drivers have been converted.

961 driver's license has been converted into Zubin Potok, while in Zvecan the driver's driver's driver's license has converted about a thousand and 177 citizens.

Asked what would happen after the Elshani deadline ends, he said he would be followed by fines.

So far, 6 thousand and 509 drivers have been converted. There's a deadline tomorrow till 4:00. Then it's the weekend and we'll continue with the awareness of the citizens, in case we meet in a parallel driver's license, which is not existing for us. From Monday to 8:00, everything will work as in the southcoast”, he said.
