The race said that in these 25 years of post-war Republic of Kosovo, Kosovo society and institutions join the democratic world, always feeling together with family members of missing persons on the notice of International Day of Missing Persons.
“This day for the state of Kosovo has a special dimension with that Kosovo still 25 years after the war awaits the dawning of fate and even the 1600 more precisely of 1595 persons whose fate is not known, but who continue to be on the list of missing persons”, said QARUA, from the Government Commission for Persons Displaced on the” show. Info Plus” of RTK.
According to him, the challenge remains a lack of reliable information.
“On this date we will join in calling on families of missing persons for international partners who are part of this process to increase pressure on official Belgrade to co-operate in this process to make available data from their archives. From the current experience in understanding the opening of five mass cemetery locations on Serbia's territory, but also the excavations that have been carried out in Kosovo have been confirmed that in the archives of Serbia, both those of the Yugoslav Army and Serbian police continue to be data, the drawings of information on the basis of which we could have more progress in this” process, he said.
The race stressed that even in activities that are being realised in close co-operation with the Co-ordination Council of the Association of Missing Persons, efforts are made to honour and remember all the missing, but also to distort international opinion to increase pressure on Serbia's institutions.
He made it known today that ground preparation has begun in a location that is between the Novi Pazar area and Tutini, near a waste depot.
It's one of three locations that's been outlined at the last meetings we can go back to this year. Even this location, we're taking some reserve because so far, even for this location and other locations we expect to return is not that the Serbian side has shared information from their” archives, Gara said.
