The RMV government reports that at today's online session, after reporting on high temperatures in which the country is located, it has adopted several recommendations and measures.
The government has decided that pregnant women and persons over the age of 60 will be released from work duties between the period of 12,07,2024 (Friday) to 18,07,2024 ( Thursday).
“Also, in the same period, employers should re-organize the activities of construction workers and workers working abroad, avoiding construction and other physical activities in the wild from 11: 00 p.m. to 5:18x1>.
“At the time government meeting, it has been decided that gardens will not exercise physical activity and that children will not be taken out by 11 to 5. The government also recommends local self-government units, Red Cross and social affairs centres in areas affected by the heat wave to offer assistance to lonely, old, helpless and homeless persons, and given that dangerous production and technological processes can pose an additional risk to the health of exposed workers, employers are reminded of their obligation to respect legal regulations in this field”.
The Republic of Northern Macedonia's “government consistently monitors the situation regarding high weather temperatures, and for this time takes appropriate measures to protect the population”, the government says.
