Tahiri: Government was caught fighting free media, EU recognised Serbian passports to several of our citizens

The head of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Parliamentary Group, Besnik Tahiri, has reacted to the recognition of passports issued by Serbia's EU institutions for a number of our citizens.

According to Tahiri, this presents a dangerous precedent and a major blow to our state, and as such allows for the blow and direct intervention in Kosovo's institutional sovereignty on the part of Serbian structures.

The recognition of passports issued by the EU institutions of Serbia for a number of our citizens presents a dangerous precedent and a major blow to our country. He has now declared that this has happened throughout the time of the government was busy fighting free media.

This did not happen on a day, this happened because this government was occupied with populism, fighting free media, insinuating democracy, having no time for information and affirmation of our state positions in the EU instance. That was because our institutional leaders were busy ping pong with the topic of association. They forgot that Serbia acts openly and in secret!” has ended Tahiri.
