Tahiri: Development of Kosovo municipalities must be our continuing priority

So said Tahiri at the Commission for Public Administration at a meeting with civil society.

“Today, on the Commission for Public Administration with Civil Society, we discussed one of the most important laws on the economic development of municipalities -- the Bill on Giving in Use and Exchange of Municipal Property. I stressed that it is very important that the referenda made in this law are in the function of sustainable economic and social development of municipalities. At the same time the articles are accurate, clarifications that help address all topics, where the municipality comes in as a side to help public good and the development of their cities”, Tahiri has said.

The head of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo's (AAK) Parliamentary Group, Besnik Tahiri, has said the amendment that will take place in the Law on Giving in the Use and Exchange of Municipal Property will be in the function of sustainable economic development.

He has added that the Law in question has passed during the time of Ramush Haradinaj's government.
