The Kosovar Privatisation Agency (AKP) has announced that the three gas stations in northern Mitrovica and in Zubin Potok, which are closed today, have operated without licenses, and the same ones will be suspended rent.
The AKP says it has accepted information in recent days that tenants of gas stations under the management of this agency in northern Mitrovica municipalities and Zubin Potok are operating without license.
“Today, along with the Kosovo Tax Administration and the Central Market Oversight Inspector, we are on the ground, where after visits and inspections, three gas stations are not equipped with licenses from the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Trade, and two of them are neither taxed. This constitutes violations of rent contracts with AKP and Law No. 08/L-018 for Oil Products and Renewable Fuel Trade, thus affecting the safety of consumers and environment”, the report says, broadcast Telegraphy.
Furthermore, it is said that “on the ground find basis, the MINT Inspectorate has interrupted these businesses, and as a result of this, the AKP will cut lease contracts”.
The agency lets all tenants know, as defined in the rent contract, that they must operate in accordance with Kosovo's legislation.
