Members of the Serbian MPB have said they are intensively searching for Faton Hajrizi, who is suspected of killing police officer Nikola Krsnovovic and wounding police officer Vjekoslav Ilic last night in Loznica.
“We have citizens immediately inform police at 192 or contact the nearest commissioner if they observe the person in the photo or have information on his movements”, the Serbian MPB said.
With this announcement, the Serbian MPB confirms that Faton Hajrizi is already the top suspect in the event in Losnica.
Hajrizi is suspected of killing the 34-year-old Serbian police officer, Nikola Krsnovolic, and wounding the other police officer, Vjekoslav Ilic.
Gunshots occurred when police during a routine check has stopped a vehicle with Turkish license plates. A Kosovo passport and German ID on behalf of Artan Hajriz has been found in the country.
Interior Minister Ivica Dacic has stated that information about Artan Hajriz's statement that his brother has taken his documents are false because if his brother had already come to Germany, why would he return to Presevo.
Dacic has said it was a terrorist attack, so the prosecution for Organised Crime is taking the case because it is an attack on a police officer in office.
