Serbian citizen banned in Leposavic with alleged smuggling goods

The car manager, a citizen of Serbia, has been detained for verification of documents and cars.

During the search, according to the announcement by Kosovo Police, food goods suspected of smuggling have been discovered.

“Leposaviq / 25.07,2024 6:30. During patrols near Kosovo borderline- Serbia has been detained with foreign license plates and the male citizen leader of Serbia. During the legalisation of documents and cars, food goods suspected of contracting” have been observed in the car, the KK's 24-hour report said.

According to the announcement, after interviewing directors and reviewing documents, the prosecutor has decided to release the suspect and the case will continue in regular procedure.
