The U.S. House of Representatives Supervisor Committee, led by the Republicans, has called the director of the American Secret Service, Kimberly Cheatle, to testify at a hearing scheduled for July 22nd, reports Guardian.
The “Americans seek answers for the attempted murder of President Trump” the panel said in an X statement, stressing that the Cheatle presentation is voluntary.
These developments come after an assassination against former US President Donald Trumpt, who was shot in the upper left ear during a rally in Pennsylvania.
The 20-year-old athlete was killed at the scene by Secret Service agents.
