Democratic League of Kosovo member Berat Rukiqi has declared that the government's failure to act towards raising the cofficiency for nearly 4 years, about 30,000 citizens have been added to the list of poor persons.

Rukiqi has said that this government does not care about citizen living, but only the calculations for votes.

According to him, the government will now completely resort to the budget to raise the cofficiency, but only to buy the votes of those who were impoverished during Kurt's mandate.

The government at the time when it was constantly called on to ease the difficult situation citizens have had to cope with the cost of living, has not acted nearly for three years despite calls that have been both in Parliament and from economic connoisseurs and from the entire spectrum of political parties, which have submitted proposals”, Rukicinj told Express.

According to him, the Democratic League of Kosovo has had a series of proposals, not only in terms of increased cofficiency when proposal has been made to increase the cofficient, but also in other measures that would affect the number of poor citizens.

And what we've seen from this inaction of at least 30,000 citizens has been added to the list of poor people who are able to poverty, and this comes directly from the government's inaction, which has failed to afford inflation that if taken into the formula, if we collect it for three years goes to 26%<1>, Rukiqi said.

According to him, the cofficiency should be 150 euros, as the Democratic League has previously seen.

If we look at the financial value by assuming that an average salary in the country is about 500 euros, then each citizen today gets about 60 euros less, if taken for average wage basis and instead of having improved living conditions, the government has even failed to act and is now completely arrogantly and will ultimately use the budget to buy these impoverished citizens' votes” Rukicqi has said

So this is the government's dirty policy, which doesn't care about the time when it has to be done to improve the lives of citizens, but it only interests the electoral cycle and distribute money during this cycle, aiming to increase the cofficiency, so that from this increase buys <x0 votes, it's over.
