The FBI claimed that former President Donald Trump was hit in the ear by a bullet in his assassination on July 13th, thus giving clearness to the event, after nearly two weeks of confusion and contradiction.
In a statement circulated Friday night, The FBI said the “that what hit former President Trump's ear was a bullet, whether it's complete or fragmented into smaller pieces, that was fired by the weapon of the late suspect”.
The statement took place two days after FBI Director Christopher Wray said during a hearing session in Congress that it was not clear whether the wounds of former President Trump were caused by lead or other chips.
Earlier Friday, the former doctor at the White House during former President Trump's mandate rejected the FBI director's statement.
The fact that a bullet injured former President Trump in his ear and that he escaped death by a distance by inch has become a key element of his election campaign.

Roni Jackson, the former doctor at the White House during former President Trump's mandate, stated: “There is no proof that he was hit by anything other than a” bullet, wrote Mr. Jackson, a close ally of former President Trump. FBI Director Wray is wrong and it's inappropriate to suggest anything else”.
On Thursday, former President Trump addressed his social media to criticise the FBI director.
It was a disaster that a bullet hit my ear, and hit hard. There was no glass, there was no fragment”, wrote former President Trump, adding that: “no wonder that the once glorious FBI has lost America's trust!”
Even former President Trump's election campaign spokesman told Reuters that any other version that the former president could have been hit by something else was the byproduct of conspiracy theories. / VOA
