According to initial information that the IPK investigators allegedly admitted that police officials have attempted to temporarily release a non-licensed weapons suspect who was arrested by police in Pec and was at the detention centre at the Pec Police Station, the IPK reports, broadcasting Express.
According to the IPK, IPK investigators have immediately responded to the case and undertaken preliminary investigative actions in consultation with the State Prosecutor.
“Under the investigation and other actions of administrative nature, The IPK has recommended to the Kosovo Police the extent of the suspension for the two alleged police officials in this case. The IPK, within legal authorisation and full co-ordination with the State Prosecutor, will continue to take further investigative action towards full enlightenment of all the circumstances associated with this case”, the IPK report said.
