Fire on the outskirts of Tropoja, Malaj: US KFOR in Kosovo, from air saved lives, property and forests

Albania's Ambassador to Kosovo, Petrit Malaj, has indicated that the activism of American air vehicles within KFOR in Kosovo for the destruction of fires on the outskirts of Tropoja has saved from burning many property, houses, forests and lives.
Malaj thanked KFOR commander Ozkan Ulutasch for the rapid engagement of air crews, who, according to him, immediately approved the Albanian side's request for assistance.
“For the work done and the rapid commitment of KFOR air teams, I want to thank KFOR commander, Major General Ozkan Ulutas, who immediately approved the Albanian side's request for assistance, as well as its continued interest in the management of the operation, the KKP's Directorate, the structure of the American command control that made available the aircraft, the pilots who participated in the operation to put out the fires, and our national representative at KFOR Commander Emerara of the Armed Forces of Albania, which the head of the successful operation in the Montenegrin area, THRCHOZCHCHCH.
Further, he said that the dedication of all the acts today and the important role in co-ordinating this effort were essential to the success of this mission.
