Osmani has expressed concern for the European Union Council's decision to lift the visa regime to Kosovo citizens who own Serbian illegal passports.
“ ... stressing that this decision negatively affects the extent of rule of law throughout Kosovo, as well as the efforts to integrate the Serb community in Kosovo.
President Osmani and Ambassador Havenier also discussed a series of legal initiatives being addressed by recent institutions, with the cases confirming the importance of ensuring respect for democratic principles and higher standards for human rights”, the announcement said.

President Vjosa Osmani has been hosting a regular meeting by US Ambassador Jeffrey Havenier.
The meeting has discussed the president's participation in activities under the NATO Summit, at the invitation of President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Antony Blinken, respectively. Praising the US invitation and Kosovo's presence in these key summit activities as a strategic development in behalf of advancing and maintaining peace and security in the region and beyond, President Osmani imposed the positive impact that Kosovo's membership in NATO would have on lasting and lasting peace and security.
President Osmani and Ambassador Havenier also discussed the recent meetings of the President with senior American officials, as well as concrete steps to be taken following in terms of co-ordinating actions in behalf of Kosovo's interests and partnership with the US.
