Osman meets with Icelandic Prime Minister: We talked about the importance of Kosovo's CoE membership

The country's president, Vjosa Osmani, has met with Iceland's prime minister, Bjarni Benedictsson, where she said it was Iceland, the country that gave rise to Kosovo's path and membership efforts in the Council of Europe.

Osmani said he and Benedictson talked about the strategic importance of the successful finalisation of this journey.

Furthermore, the first of the state said the Irish prime minister thanked him for his continued support, while adding that they confirmed readiness to intensify co-operation in behalf of the citizens of both countries.

Osman is participating in the fourth European Political Committee summit, which is being held in the United Kingdom.
